On October 21, the Customs Branch of Region VI held a conference to announce the results of the implementation of the assessment of competitiveness and quality of operation and management at the grassroots level (CDCI) in 2025.

It is known that this is the first year that the Customs Branch of Region VI has implemented this important activity to record and objectively evaluate the level of satisfaction of enterprises with the management, service and trade facilitation of affiliated customs units.

The survey content is designed to include 8 component indexes including: Transparency and application of information technology; quality and efficiency of customs procedures and public services; time costs; legal institutions; fair competition; dynamism and pioneering; business support; informal costs. These are indexes designed to be adjusted to suit the characteristics of the customs sector and units.

The survey results are assessed to have substantially and comprehensively reflected the opinions from the business community with import-export activities through border gates in Lang Son province.

Accordingly, it is recognized that border customs units have made many efforts to innovate in management and service for businesses, contributing to improving the quality of operations and creating a favorable and transparent import-export environment.

  • Dong Dang International Railway Station Customs Branch ranked first, with 87.38 points, affirming its position as a leading unit in reform and business service.
  • Huu Nghi International Border Gate Customs Branch ranked second, achieving 86.24 points, recording many outstanding results in applying information technology and quickly processing import and export procedures.
  • Tan Thanh, Chi Ma and Coc Nam Border Gate Customs Branches scored 84.46 points, 80.36 points and 79.45 points, respectively, ranking 3rd, 4th and 5th.

At the announcement ceremony, the leaders of the Customs Branch of Region VI acknowledged and commended the efforts and responsibility of the units in reforming, modernizing and accompanying businesses.

This is not only an objective measure of operational quality, but also a basis for units to continue promoting their strengths, overcoming shortcomings, and moving towards the goal of "Professional - Transparent - Effective - Service Customs".
