(Dan Tri) - Before the muddy rainy season arrived, Russia accelerated and achieved significant results in the central area of the front. The entire Ukrainian army group in the Kurakhove direction is facing a difficult challenge.

The siege on Kiev forces in Kurakhove is tightening.
The Russian military (RFAF) continues to conduct ground raids, especially in the Kupyansk, Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions, the Military Summary channel reported.
In the direction of Kupyansk, Moscow forces are advancing along the forest west of Sinkovka and are believed to have captured the entire forest area.
The RFAF made further ground advances on the southern flank in the direction of Pokrovsk, where they captured much of the field and, according to Russian military observers, two more villages west of Kurakhovka were also reported to have fallen.
In addition, Russian troops are advancing deep into Ukrainian positions south of Kurakhove and capturing large areas of the fields. The attacks are concentrated on the villages of Maksymivka and Trudove. Accordingly, the "noose" around the city is tightening.

Russia is developing very rapidly in the central region.
Readovka channel said that before the mud season hit, Moscow's forces accelerated and achieved amazing results in the central part of the front.
The successes of the RFAF during the summer-autumn campaign showed a rapid decline in the combat capabilities of Kiev forces in all directions of operations. The Russian army was assembled at the end of October after capturing a number of cities, large settlements and small villages. They were focused on three directions: Pokrovsk, Kurakhove and Yuzhno-Donetskoye.
In early autumn, after successfully capturing Novogrodovka, as part of the general preparations for the decisive offensive on Pokrovsk and Mirnograd, Moscow forces took control of Grodovka, Selidovo and then expanded their territory to the west of the city.
In the direction of Kurakhove, they eliminated Nevel and captured such fortified cities and towns as Ukrainsk, Gornyak, and Kurakhovka. These successes helped to start the operation to form a northern arc that would envelop the entire enemy group.
In southern Donetsk, in fierce battles, the RFAF captured the "fortress city" of Ugledar and began to break through the last line of fortified positions of the Kiev forces: Zolotaya Niva, Shakhterskoe, Novoukrainka and Bogoyavlenka were taken over in a few days.

Kursk: Fighting intensity reduced
According to Rybar, the intensity of fighting on the Kursk front has decreased relatively over the past few days, which is also evidenced by the fact that fewer new objective control footages are being published online.
In the Glushkovo district, the situation has not changed significantly and no new attempts by the AFU to penetrate the Russian border and attack the Novy Put area have been recorded.
On the Korenevo side, Moscow forces have reached the dam across the Snagost River, close to Lyubimovka, closing the “ring” around Tolstoy Lug. However, there is no clear confirmation of this yet.
In the Sudzha district, the Russian Pacer UAV attacked AFU armored vehicles in Malaya Loknya with a UАB-20 guided bomb, marking the 12th recorded case of effective use of this type of UAV in this area.
In addition, Russia continued to destroy AFU positions deep in the rear in the Sumy region. A Ukrainian CAESAR self-propelled gun was hit by a Lancet UAV south of Varanchino, and an Iskander ballistic missile strike was carried out on an area where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated in Yablonovka.

Russia broke into Maksimovka between Ugledar and Kurakhove
Rybar channel reported that Moscow forces carried out a number of raids on targets in the enemy-controlled rear area, including the destruction of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry facility in Kharkov.
In response, Kiev launched a drone attack on Russian fuel and energy facilities in the Stavropol region. Another drone crashed into a residential building in Bryansk.
To the south of Donetsk, Russian forces took control of Novokrainka, Yasna Poliana and drove Kiev formations from the western outskirts of Shakhtarsk.
The RVvoenkory channel reported that the Russian army broke into Maksimovka between Ugledar and Kurakhovo.
"Some mechanized attacks have been repelled, but Russian infantry is gradually advancing deeper into the village, fierce fighting is ongoing," said Stanislav Bunyatov, a prominent Ukrainian fighter.
"In the direction of Ugledar, the situation remains very serious. Fighting continues in the Maksimovka and Trudovoy areas. In fact, fighting has already reached Uspenovka... There are two relatively convenient directions to reach Kurakhove from the south: Ekaterinovka, as well as Uspenovka," wrote Ukrainian analyst Bogdan Miroshnikov.
"The geography of this area is very complex with many large rivers and lakes, with empty spaces between them. Previously, this could have been a significant obstacle, but now it is not. Moreover, I am sure that the Russians will try to reach Konstantinople (a village about 13km from Kurakhove). If they succeed, they will close the siege on Kurakhove," Mr. Miroshnikov said.

Ukrainian General Staff: Fierce clashes in Kurakhove
Ukrainska Pravda reported that the Ukrainian General Staff's report on the evening of November 1 said that since the beginning of the day, 126 clashes had occurred, the most intense being in Kurakhove with 48 battles.
The report said: "There were 126 clashes, the enemy carried out 3 missile attacks (5 missiles), 52 air strikes (dropping 73 KAB bombs) and used 400 UAVs, and carried out 2,926 artillery attacks."
The General Staff of Ukraine confirmed that the defense forces repelled most of the Russian attacks in Kharkov, Kupyansk, Liman, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Vremovsky and Dnieper. The enemy is fiercely attacking the AFU defenders in the direction of Pokrovsk with 36 battles, while there are 48 armed clashes in the direction of Kurakhove.

DeepState: Russia captures Yasnaya Polyana in Donetsk region
DeepState channel reported that on November 1, RFAF captured the village of Yasnaya Polyana in the Volnovakha district of the Donetsk region.
The report said: "The enemy also entered Novodmitrovka, Druzhba, Maksimovka, Novoukrainka and Terny".
According to the 2001 census, the population of the village of Yasnaya Polyana was 434 people, of whom 91.94% spoke Ukrainian as their mother tongue.
Ukraine launches ballistic missile attack, huge explosion occurs in Crimea
Ukrainska Pravda reported that early this morning, November 2, Russian air defense was active in Crimea and many explosions were recorded.
"At around 1:00 a.m., an air strike alert was issued in Sevastopol due to the threat of a ballistic attack," Russian-appointed Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev said.
Russian Telegram channels reported a missile threat to Crimea and Sevastopol. According to local residents, explosions and air defense fire were heard in the Dzhankoy district. In addition, there were flashes of light in the area of the village of Azovskoye. Explosions were also heard in Saki. The alert in Crimea lasted about 30 minutes.

Mr. Zelensky: Preemptive strike on North Korean soldiers possible
The first thousand North Korean troops are near the Ukrainian border, Ukrainska Pravda reported. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Kiev could launch a preemptive strike, but would need long-range weapons.
“We now see all the places where Russia is concentrating these North Korean soldiers on its territory – all their barracks. We could strike first if we had the capability to strike at long enough range. And that depends on our partners. But instead of making a decision, the US, the UK, Germany are watching. Everyone is just waiting for the North Korean soldiers to start attacking the Ukrainians,” he said.
Leader Zelensky stressed that "anyone who really wants Russia's war against Ukraine not to spread to Europe should not only watch, but also act."
Moscow and Pyongyang have so far continued to deny the accusations that North Korea has sent troops to Russia to fight, saying that these accusations are baseless. On the other hand, Moscow has made it clear that even the scenario of North Korea sending troops to Russia would not violate international law. Recently, Russia signed a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty with North Korea.
Hungary and Ukraine discuss bilateral agreement
Hungarian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mate Pacholay confirmed talks on a bilateral agreement with Ukraine, but said that the issue of Ukraine's NATO membership was not mentioned in it, European Pravda reported.
According to the Hungarian representative, negotiations on the signing of a comprehensive cooperation agreement between Hungary and Ukraine are ongoing and the agreement should focus on "restoring the rights of the Hungarian ethnic community".
"At the same time, we made it clear to the Ukrainian side during the negotiations that Ukraine's intention to join NATO cannot be included in this agreement. We have repeatedly expressed our clear position on this issue and no changes have occurred," the Hungarian Foreign Ministry spokesman added.
He repeated the argument made earlier in Budapest that Ukraine's entry into NATO "would lead to the start of World War III".
President Zelensky said a day earlier that Kiev and Budapest were working on preparing a "bilateral document" that would deal, in particular, with security issues and Ukraine's accession to NATO.
Mr. Zelensky argued that Ukraine, within the framework of this document, would demand that Hungary “not prevent” the country from joining the Union in the future.
