The Indian Embassy has just officially announced that the Indian Government has agreed to extend the exhibition period of Buddha's relics in Vietnam from May 22 to June 2, 2025 , at the request of the Vietnamese Government. The Indian Embassy requested the Vietnamese side to provide a schedule of the exhibition locations after May 21 so that necessary arrangements can be made such as visa extensions for accompanying Indian officials and monks, related ceremonies and security work.
The Buddha's relics have been enshrined at four locations for people across the country to freely visit and worship, including: Thanh Tam Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City), Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh), Quan Su Pagoda ( Hanoi ) and Tam Chuc Pagoda (Ha Nam). At Tam Chuc Pagoda, tens of thousands of people flock to it every day. The Organizing Committee has announced an extension of the worship schedule until May 21.
