The coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong arrives at Chu Lai airport.

After the solemn funeral and memorial service held at the National Funeral Home No. 5 Tran Thanh Tong, Hanoi, at exactly 11:00 a.m. on May 25, 2025, a special plane brought the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong to Chu Lai airport, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.

After performing the rituals, at 11:30 a.m., the hearse began to leave Chu Lai airport to National Highway 1A in Tam Nghia commune, Nui Thanh district, carrying the coffin of former President Tran Duc Luong through Binh Son, Son Tinh districts, Quang Ngai city, Tu Nghia district, Mo Duc district to his hometown in Duc Pho town, Quang Ngai province. The funeral of former President Tran Duc Luong will be solemnly held at his hometown cemetery in Pho Khanh commune, Duc Pho town at 3:00 p.m.
