Official launch of French Plus digital platform - TiengPhapPlus.vn

On November 20, the French Embassy in Vietnam and the French Institute in Vietnam officially launched the TiengPhapPlus.vn website (also known as Tiếng Pháp Plus). This is an important project to support users in finding useful information about language, culture and jobs related to the Francophone community in Vietnam.

In October 2024, in the Republic of France, witnessed by General Secretary To Lam and French President Emmanuel Macron, representatives of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Education of France signed a cooperation document in the field of education between the two countries; emphasizing that the two countries continue to promote the results of cooperation in education and training in Vietnam, especially in the fields of enhancing French language teaching and expanding the network of general education institutions in Vietnam to achieve the Label Franc Education title.

To realize the commitment in the field of education between the two countries, the French Embassy and the French Institute in Vietnam have built the French Plus platform (Tiengphapplus.vn) - an important project to support and strongly spread the movement of teaching and learning French in Vietnam.

Mr. Eric Soulier, Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities, French Embassy in Vietnam affirmed that Vietnam is not only a very active member of the International Organization of Francophone (OIF) but also a founding member of this organization. The Francophone representative office of the Asia -Pacific region is also located in Vietnam, which is a favorable condition to strengthen cooperation in the field of education and universities between France and Vietnam.

Mr. Eric Soulier said that the project's goal is to connect the entire ecosystem surrounding the French language, including students, families, schools, businesses, and move towards a more closely connected French-speaking community.

Explaining more about the French Plus project, Ms. Pauline Vidal, project officer and representative of the project implementing company, 5S Media, described that this platform has three main spaces, including the "Current events" area, which helps users grasp information related to French-speaking life in Vietnam. The second is the "Study Orientation" area, which provides useful information for learning French and studying abroad. Finally, the "Career Orientation" area, which focuses on job opportunities and career development after learning French.

Mr. Arnaud Panier, Attaché for Educational Cooperation of Vietnam, spoke about the necessity of the project. He gave figures of about 40,000 Vietnamese students studying French in the general education system, and about 400 French teachers. Many students have plans to study and work in France.

On the contrary, there are many French companies operating in Vietnam, needing to recruit staff to work for them. According to Mr. Arnaud Panier, the French Plus project is designed to help them access French more easily and is a unique platform to explore culture, study and careers related to French language and culture in Vietnam.

The French Plus platform has been in testing since September 2025 and currently has 400 active users. The project is expected to create a French ecosystem and move towards a more closely connected Francophone community. According to the plan, the second phase of the project, scheduled to be implemented from January 2026, will integrate AI elements to support candidates in building recruitment profiles and searching for study and job information more effectively.
