After a month of physical, technical and tactical training, the Coaching Board decided that five players would not participate in the training trip, including: Le Thi Thu, Luu Hoang Van, Ta Thi Hong Minh, Nguyen Thi Van (due to injury) and Tran Nhat Lan.

Meanwhile, after Ho Chi Minh City women's football club completed Group A of the 2025-2026 AFC Women's Club Championship and qualified for the quarterfinals, coach Mai Duc Chung added six players: Quach Thu Em, Cu Thi Huynh Nhu, Huynh Nhu, Tran Thi Thu Thao, Nguyen Thi Kim Yen and Tran Thi Kim Thanh.

Two members of the Ho Chi Minh City club's coaching staff, including coach Doan Thi Kim Chi and assistant coach Nguyen Thi Kim Hong, were also mobilized to support professional preparation.

According to the plan, on the night of November 20, the national women's football team will travel from Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province to Noi Bai international airport. At the same time, eight members of the team will fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi to join the group and complete departure procedures at 1:35 a.m. on November 21. The flight is expected to land in Nagoya city (Japan) at 8:00 a.m. (local time).

During the 10-day training camp in Japan, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team will play three friendly matches with teams from the university system in Nagoya City. This is an important opportunity to evaluate the performance of each position, coordination ability and tactical adaptability of the entire team before entering the 33rd SEA Games.

After the training program, the team will return to Ho Chi Minh City on November 30 and stay for two more days to adapt to the weather conditions. On December 2, the team will move to Chonburi City (Thailand), ready to embark on the journey to conquer the 33rd SEA Games.
