The Vivo Y78+ 5G features a large 6.78-inch OLED display, offering Full-HD+ resolution (1,080 x 2,400 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support, 105% NTSC color gamut, 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 1,000 nits brightness.
In terms of optics, the smartphone has a dual camera cluster on the back with a 50MP main sensor supporting OIS, accompanied by a 2MP macro lens and dual LED flash. The front camera has a resolution of 8MP. The phone is pre-installed with the latest Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3 user interface.
Vivo Y78+ 5G uses Snapdragon 695 chipset, comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The device comes with a 4,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
In addition, the Y78+ 5G is also equipped with a number of other features such as dual SIM, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. The device has dimensions of 162.24 x 74.79 x 7.89mm and weighs 177 grams.
Vivo Y78+ 5G will go on sale in China on April 26 in Moon Shadow Black, Warm Sun Gold, and Sky Blue color options.
In terms of pricing, the base Vivo Y78+ model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost CNY 1,599 (around Rs. 23,000). The variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost CNY 1,799 (around Rs. 26,000). The top-end model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be sold for CNY 1,999 (around Rs. 26,000).
