The street musical show “Tinh tuom” debuted at Vui Phet night market (Phu Quoc) on the evening of March 23, helping the Pearl Island continue to become the “most fun” entertainment destination in Vietnam at this time.

“Tinh tuom” show officially launched on March 23, 2024 with two performance times at 8:00 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. every day. This is the next creative show of Vui Phet night market, after the success of “Loang Xoang show” which attracted hundreds of tourists every night thanks to its unique idea – using kitchen utensils and fishing gear as performance mediums.

The show is a hip hop musical inspired by the story of shoe shine boys on the street. For the first time in Vietnam, shoe shine operations in daily life are artistically transformed into skillful and beautiful hip hop moves.

Vui Phet Night Market becomes a very special outdoor stage - a vibrant shoe shine area with the rustling sound of shoe shine, shoe boxes and familiar calls. The audience is not only excited when watching the complex technical dances, but also becomes a part of the show, when joining the actors in "catching the trend" with "super hot" dances on social networks such as "Lang la", "See tinh"...

“The audience will be surprised to see the most ordinary, everyday scenes of Vietnamese streets artistically transformed into a musical and extremely interesting dances,” said Duong Dinh Hoang, a young artist performing in the show.

In the first days of its release, the two shows attracted a large audience to enjoy shopping at the first night market by the sea in Vietnam in Phu Quoc.

“Very good, fun and interesting, very creative. The young artists performed as naturally as breathing. The performance props were also a surprise, when the audience saw paint cans, aluminum trays, and trash cans being played into extremely fun and hip hop music. Street shows like this create more experiences and joy for tourists to the island,” said Ngoc Lan, a tourist from Hanoi .

Natalia Vladi, a Russian tourist, was extremely excited: “I was surprised that Phu Quoc is not as quiet as what I read in the Russian media. This island is bustling day and night, tourists can enjoy very funny shows like this right on the street. Not every destination can do that.”

Not only with music , vibrant hip hop dances and modern choreography, “Tinh tuom” is also a combination of colorful Vietnamese street culture, promising to bring visitors new experiences but no less close and familiar.
