Three siblings Nong Thanh Phuc, Nong Thi Thu Huyen and Nong Thi Le Thuy lost both their parents in less than a year. Their mother passed away from cancer in June 2024. Before they could get over their loss, they suffered another great mental shock when their father, the breadwinner of the family, suddenly passed away in mid-February 2025.

In the middle of an empty house, three children cling to each other to survive day by day in both material and spiritual deprivation. However, thanks to the timely intervention of the article “Heartbreaking story of three orphaned brothers in a patchwork house in Dak Nong ” by Dak Nong Newspaper and the spirit of sharing of the community, the children’s situation has been known to many units, organizations and individuals who have joined hands to support.

Specifically, through the connection of the Dak Nong Provincial Red Cross, three orphaned brothers received 40 million VND from the Provincial Buddhist Association. The Tu Tam Hoa Sen Charity Group, Ho Chi Minh City supported 12 million VND; a philanthropist named Thai at Dak D'rong market contributed 16 million VND; Hoang Van Thu Secondary School, Dak D'rong Commune, Cu Jut District donated 8 million VND; officials and civil servants of Dak D'rong Commune donated 6.4 million VND.
In addition, the program "Spreading love" of Dak Nong Radio and Television and the cooperation of the social community, the three children also received an additional 43,982,000 VND from benefactors. The total current support amount is more than 120 million VND.

Not only receiving financial assistance, the three brothers also receive long-term support in their monthly activities. Through the connection of the group "Spreading love - PTD", an anonymous benefactor in Dak Mil town, Dak Mil district pledged to support 500,000 VND/month for the children, starting from April 2025.
The Bodhi Leaf Association of Ho Chi Minh City, through the Cu Jut District Red Cross Association, received support of 1 million VND/month. The Dak D'rong Commune Red Cross Association committed to supporting 300,000 VND/month for 3 children.

In the coming time, the People's Committee of Dak D'rong commune will coordinate with departments, organizations such as the Women's Union, Youth Union, Red Cross and philanthropists to regularly visit, encourage and support the three brothers in their studies as well as daily life.
The joint support from the community not only brings material value but also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping children continue to overcome adversity, overcome difficulties and continue to strive to study towards a bright future.
