Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council presented flowers to congratulate Bac Kan Newspaper on the occasion of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and congratulated the results achieved by Bac Kan Newspaper in propaganda work in recent times. In particular, she highly appreciated the innovations and efforts of the Editorial Board, staff and reporters in digital transformation, innovation in forms of information and propaganda on print newspapers and social networks, attracting the attention and following of a large number of readers near and far.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee said that the fact that Bac Kan Newspaper won many central and national press awards in recent years is clear evidence reflecting the unit's growth and development.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, wished the cadres, reporters and employees of Bac Kan Newspaper to continue to excellently fulfill their tasks in the coming time.

In just a few days, the two provinces of Bac Kan and Thai Nguyen will officially merge and put into operation the two-level government apparatus. Comrade Phuong Thi Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, emphasized the difficulties and challenges, and at the same time requested Bac Kan Newspaper to perform well a number of key tasks such as: Continuing to stay close to the grassroots, surveying and grasping the public opinion situation; doing a good job of propaganda and orienting public opinion; the area after the province's merger is very large, this is new material, new information for journalists to explore, to have more new quality works.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee believes that the Editorial Board, together with the staff, reporters and workers of Bac Kan Newspaper, will continue to unite and successfully complete the assigned tasks, "new environment - new success".
