In the midst of natural disasters, beautiful images of soldiers, police and volunteer groups quickly arriving in flooded areas, helping people rebuild their houses, providing food and timely relief... have warmed the hearts of many people. And as the Central region is about to enter a new stormy season, that belief is continued, to see that: no matter how fierce the storms and floods are, the love of the Vietnamese people is still a solid support to help each other overcome all losses and pain.

Natural disasters are something no one wants, but when they happen in unpredictable situations, it is also the time to demonstrate the spirit of bravery, solidarity, mutual love and support of the Vietnamese people. Never before have the two words "Compatriots" been used in such a proper place as now, when many local leaders in the North, along with volunteer groups, do not fear danger to go to places deeply flooded and stormy to support and help people.

Fortunately, in many heavily flooded areas across the North, army and police regiments have immediately gone to the "flood centers" to help people fight floods, restore collapsed houses, and bring timely emergency food to the people.

If we often say “as fast as firefighting”, then now we must add “as fast as flood relief”. Volunteer groups and money collected from many kind hearts have reached people in flood-hit areas very promptly.

Many people brought necessities to donate to support people in the North who suffered damage due to floods.

Never before have the two words “Compatriots” been used so appropriately as when volunteer groups came to join the people in fighting against storms and floods. If a major storm were to pass, it would normally take more than a year, but in many places, the flood recovery was completed in just a few months. When reporters went to the flooded areas to interview the people, they all expressed their gratitude to the people who had helped them so quickly and effectively.

In the near future, the South Central region will have to endure storms and floods. There are still two months, the 9th and 10th lunar months, for storms and floods to hit the South Central region. The government and people of the whole country are ready to rescue the people of the South Central region, because it is impossible to predict how severe the damage from storms and floods will be.

And the people of the South Central region have also prepared, shoring up their houses, staying away from places where rocks and soil can fall on their houses.
