That was the direction of comrade Pham Dai Duong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation when visiting and inspecting the security and order situation in Song Hinh district on April 25.
Accompanying the delegation were comrade Dinh Thi Thu Thanh, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Provincial Police and representatives of specialized departments; leaders of the Provincial Military Command, and the Provincial Party Committee Office. Receiving and working with the delegation were leaders of the Song Hinh District Party Committee and People's Committee.
Reporting to the working delegation, Secretary of Song Hinh District Party Committee Nay Y Blung said: In the first quarter of 2024, the socio-economic situation of the district developed stably. The work of building the Party and the political system was comprehensively promoted. Social security policies were fully and promptly implemented. Statistics show that the whole district has over 6,000 religious followers. The locality has made many innovations in state management of religious activities, ensuring that religions in the district operate in accordance with the law.
To continue to maintain political security and stability, ensure social order and safety, proactively prevent and effectively combat sabotage activities of hostile forces, all kinds of crimes and social evils in the district, especially before, during and after the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, the Day of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1), on April 15, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee issued an official dispatch requesting the Party building committees, affiliated Party organizations, agencies, departments, branches and unions of the district to strengthen the work of ensuring security and order.
Speaking at the visit and inspection of the security and order situation, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Dai Duong requested that the Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations in Song Hinh district focus on grasping and forecasting the situation, proactively preparing all plans and strategies, avoiding being surprised, ensuring security and safety for the people, especially during the holidays of the Liberation Day of the South and National Reunification (April 30) and International Labor Day (May 1).
The Standing Committee of the District Party Committee shall direct and monitor the situation, prevent and stop activities that cause political insecurity and social order and safety, and prevent activities that take advantage of the situation to incite, entice and sabotage activities in the locality; strengthen measures to ensure traffic safety and order and fire prevention and fighting; inspect and strictly handle violations by organizations and individuals who do not comply with regulations on traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting. The district needs to promote the role and responsibility of leaders of Party committees, authorities at all levels and sectors in ensuring political security, social order and safety, traffic safety and fire prevention and fighting in the locality.
