Specifically, the Southern Irrigation Exploitation Company Limited (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment), Tri An Hydropower Company ( Dong Nai province), the Center for Management and Exploitation of Irrigation Works (Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City) regularly review and inspect the safety of works, assess the operating status of equipment, spillways, water intakes, monitoring systems and promptly fix defects (if any); Prepare adequate equipment, means and spare materials to promptly fix incidents and damages caused by natural disasters; Notify the authorities and people in the downstream area when operating water regulation through spillways to proactively take preventive measures, ensuring safety for people and property.
The People's Committees of wards and communes at risk of being affected by flood discharge need to closely monitor the flood discharge developments of reservoirs, promptly inform people about discharge flow and flooding situation to proactively prevent and respond. Focus on implementing measures to respond and overcome consequences (if any)...
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City regularly monitors and grasps the weather situation, flood regulation information of reservoirs and forecasts weather phenomena and high tides, to inform and warn agencies, organizations and people to proactively prevent and respond; advise and report to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City when urgent situations arise for timely direction and handling.
