On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025) and the Year of Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front sent a congratulatory message to Mr. Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-China diplomatic relations (January 18, 1950 - January 18, 2025) and the Year of Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and in my own name, I would like to send to Comrade Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China, Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and through him, to the leaders of the Party, the State, the National People's Congress, the State Council and the Chinese people my warmest congratulations.
On January 18, 1950, the People's Republic of China, the first state in the world to establish diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, marked an important historical milestone in the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and China.
I am pleased to see that, through many challenges and historical changes, the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries over the past 75 years, personally built and diligently nurtured by President Ho Chi Minh and Chairman Mao Zedong and previous leaders of the two countries, has borne fruit and developed a long way. The relationship between the two countries has maintained a good development trend, and exchanges and cooperation in various fields have continuously developed in both breadth and depth, bringing practical benefits to the people of the two countries.
I believe that in the coming time, the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries will continue to be consolidated and further enhanced; mutually beneficial cooperation areas, control and properly handle existing issues on the basis of respecting each other's legitimate interests, in accordance with international law, meeting the fundamental and long-term interests of the two countries, for peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the world.
The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is ready to closely coordinate with the Chinese National People's Political Consultative Conference to promote the implementation of the common perceptions between the high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and countries and the documents signed by the two organizations, contributing to bringing the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and building the Vietnam-China Community of Shared Future to continuous development, deepening and becoming more substantial and effective, for the practical interests of the people of the two countries.
Wishing the People's Republic of China ever more prosperous, the Chinese people ever more happy.
Wishing the traditional friendship between the people of Vietnam and China to be forever green and everlasting.
