On the morning of January 12th, a delegation from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its partners and sponsors participated in the inauguration and handover ceremony of the Ninh Lai village cultural house and organized gift-giving and health check-ups for war veterans, policy beneficiary families, and poor and near-poor households in Ninh Lai commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province.
Attending the program were: Comrade Do Van Chien, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Hung Vuong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Hoang Viet Phuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of Son Duong district and sponsors and partner organizations.
The Ninh Lai village cultural center was started in September 2024, with a total cost of over 3 billion VND, funded by the Vietnam Rubber Group, Z36 Vietnam Joint Stock Company, and other legal sources of capital. The cultural center is a two-story building with an area of 188m². The first floor is a community activity space, and the second floor is an assembly hall.
The completed project has met the needs and aspirations of the people in organizing meetings, cultural activities, physical education and sports events at the village cultural center; improved the landscape of the residential area and contributed to achieving the goal of building Ninh Lai commune to meet the advanced new rural standards in 2024, and Son Duong district to meet the new rural standards in 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Do Van Chien, expressed his joy and excitement at witnessing the increasing prosperity of his homeland and the continuous improvement of people's lives.
Chairman Do Van Chien emphasized that the achievements were the result of the unity and tireless efforts of the entire political system and the people. He urged the people to work together to overcome difficulties, create the best possible conditions for their children to go to school; unite to protect the forests to ensure water for production and daily life; protect the environment, preserve national cultural identity, and prevent social evils.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake, Chairman Do Van Chien sent his best wishes to all the people, hoping that they would continue to uphold the spirit of unity and work together to build an increasingly prosperous and beautiful homeland.
On this occasion, Chairman Do Van Chien presented 100 gifts to the Fatherland Front of Son Duong district; 64 gifts to the Party Committee, People's Committee of the commune, Party branch secretaries, village heads, and heads of the Fatherland Front working committees of the villages; and donated a television to the Ninh Lai village cultural house.
Sponsors and partners donated 367 gift packages to war veterans, families of policy beneficiaries, the elderly, poor and near-poor households; and provided free health check-ups and medicine to people in Ninh Lai commune. The total value of the gifts was nearly 800 million VND.
During the ceremony, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented flowers and a smart public address system worth 10 million VND to the village; the Son Duong District Party Committee, District People's Council, District People's Committee, and District Fatherland Front Committee donated a water filter to Ninh Lai village.
