BTO-On the afternoon of July 14, during a visit and working session in Binh Thuan , a delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) led by Ms. Ha Thi Nga - Member of the Party Central Committee, President of the VWU visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, policy families and poor students in Phan Thiet City.
Accompanying the delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union and leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Committee and Women's Union of Phan Thiet City.
At the visit and gift-giving ceremony on the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on behalf of the delegation, Ms. Ha Thi Nga expressed her deep gratitude and appreciation for the great sacrifices and contributions of families with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of fighting, national liberation, national reunification and building and defending the Fatherland. At the same time, she hoped that those with meritorious services and their families would continue to encourage their children and grandchildren to uphold their traditions, strive to study, work, and contribute to building their homeland and the country. The President of the Vietnam Women's Union also sent her best wishes and encouraged 50 poor and disadvantaged students to make more efforts and try harder, worthy of being good children, good students, good team members, and good children of Uncle Ho.
Visiting mother Nguyen Thi Su (born in 1922, Thanh Hai ward), whose two children are martyrs. Mrs. Ha Thi Nga and members of the delegation kindly asked about mother's life. Wishing mother good health, children and grandchildren to promote the heroic revolutionary tradition, cultivate and train morality - intelligence - physical beauty, actively study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and make many contributions to the cause of building a beautiful and rich homeland.
Previously, the delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union visited and presented gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Doan Thi Sam (born in 1926, Ham Chinh commune) and 5 policy families, 50 poor students who overcame difficulties in Ham Thuan Bac district. The total amount of money and gifts presented by the delegation was worth 100 million VND.
