The meeting with General Secretary andPresident of China Xi Jinping was the final activity of President Vo Van Thuong during his working trip to China to attend the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, at the invitation of General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping.

The working trip of President Vo Van Thuong also contributes to further concretizing and implementing the common perception of the top leaders of the two Parties and two countries reached during the historic visit to China by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong at the end of October 2022. Through maintaining high-level exchanges and contacts, it contributes to strengthening political trust and practical cooperation between the two countries.

The trip also aims to affirm that Vietnam always supports initiatives that are beneficial for peace and development cooperation in the region and the world .
