At the meeting, delegates listened to the consulting unit present planning reports. In particular, for the planning of the high-end urban area of ​​Soc Trang LUNARIA, scale 1/500, the West borders Le Hong Phong Street and the East borders 30/4 Street in Ward 3, Soc Trang City and a part borders Tom Lua Street in My Xuyen Town. The overall urban area takes ideas from the land, culture and socio -economics of the province, including the names of famous places to build urban centers, high-end apartments, parks, social housing, offices, commercial service areas and other entertainment areas.

According to the plan, Phu My industrial - urban - service park has a planned area of ​​about 1,500 hectares, located in part of Dai Tam commune (My Xuyen district), Phu My commune (My Tu district), An Ninh commune (Chau Thanh district) and Ward 10 ( Soc Trang city). In which, the industrial park is planned to develop multi-industry industry, automobile manufacturing and assembly, small and medium-sized enterprise support area; apartment building area and other commercial and service areas.

Through the presentation of the consulting unit, the delegates had further clarifications on the process, procedures and legal mechanisms, the location of the Soc Trang LUNARIA high-end urban area in accordance with the province's planning. With the planning of Phu My industrial - urban - service area, the delegates also discussed further about the planning work and legal bases for the formation and development of Phu My industrial - urban - service area in the future.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Lau said that the planning of the high-end urban area Soc Trang LUNARIA is a very large urban area. When formed, the urban area will be of international stature, directly serving the lives of local people. Therefore, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that the consulting unit continue to thoroughly research the culture, society and economy of Soc Trang province, and promptly complete the contents that departments and branches contributed opinions. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested that departments and branches continue to support consulting units and project investors to promptly complete legal procedures and mechanisms, investment policies, so that the projects can be implemented soon, creating momentum for socio-economic development for the province and the region in the coming time.
