The movement of young people joining hands to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas has been identified by the Youth Union chapters at all levels of My Tu district as one of the key tasks in implementing the annual Youth Union work program and youth movement. According to comrade Truong Thi Diem My - Secretary of the My Tu District Youth Union, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district have promoted the dissemination of the Party's and locality's policies and resolutions on building new rural areas and civilized urban areas to union members and young people in order to raise their awareness of the role and responsibility of the youth. Thereby, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the district have closely followed the practical needs of the locality, implementing many projects and tasks to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

From 2024 to present, through peak activities during Youth Month, Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, Green Sunday campaign, the district's Youth Union chapters have mobilized the construction of 4 rural traffic bridges, implemented 3 projects to Light up the Countryside with a total length of over 2.8km with a total cost of over 480 million VND. At the same time, the following projects have been implemented: propaganda panels for the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress on Provincial Road 940, launching the Livable Village model in Ta Bien Hamlet, Phu My Commune. In addition, the district's Youth Union chapters have also planted over 3,800 trees, distributed over 50 handbooks, 1,100 leaflets promoting environmental protection, and organized many campaigns to clear, clean, and repair rural roads.
Comrade Le Thi Diem Quynh - Deputy Secretary of Long Hung Commune Youth Union said: "Responding to the Green Sunday activities launched by the higher-level Youth Union, the Youth Union members and youth in the commune have taken part in many projects and youth work to participate in building new rural areas such as repairing rural roads, clearing and planting trees and ornamental flowers on roads, collecting and treating waste. Thereby contributing to creating a green - clean - beautiful landscape for the locality.
At the same time, gratitude and volunteer activities for social security have been widely deployed by the district's Youth Union chapters, targeting particularly difficult areas and areas with a large number of ethnic minorities. From 2024 to present, the district's Youth Union chapters have organized many activities to visit, give gifts, provide free medical examinations and medicines, and support the construction of houses for disadvantaged people... As a result, the Youth Union chapters at all levels have supported the construction of 3 houses, the construction of a playground for children at My Huong Kindergarten, and the solidification of the schoolyard at Hung Phu A Primary School. At the same time, over 1,000 gifts, free medical examinations and medicines were given to over 150 people, over 60 bicycles, and 120 scholarships for policy beneficiaries, people, and students in difficult circumstances. Through these activities, we have contributedto educating and orienting a beautiful and useful lifestyle for union members and young people, promoting the role and responsibility of young people towards the community and society.

Comrade Thach Buu Tan - Secretary of Phu My Commune Youth Union said: "With the youth and enthusiasm of union members and the attention and support of local Party committees, authorities and benefactors, social security activities have been widely deployed throughout the commune. Many gifts, scholarships and bicycles have been given by the Commune Youth Union to people in difficult circumstances, giving them more motivation to improve their lives."
The voluntary activities of My Tu district youth in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and ensuring social security in recent times have been highly appreciated by the Party Committee, government, and people in the district. Through practical works and tasks, the union members and youth of My Tu district have contributed to changing the appearance of rural and urban areas in the district, building the locality to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.
