On the morning of May 13, Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the progress of site clearance (GPMB) of the route corridor and construction of the 500kV line 3 project in Nga Son, Ha Trung and Hau Loc districts.
Comrade Do Minh Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and members of the working delegation inspected the construction of anchorage 70-71 in Nga An commune (Nga Son).
Also attending were representatives of the Northern Power Project Management Board; representatives of the provincial departments and functional agencies; leaders and functional departments of Nga Son, Ha Trung and Hau Loc districts.
The 500 kV line 3 project from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has a total length of about 519 km, passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces including: Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh , Hai Duong, Hung Yen.

The project has a total of 1,179 column foundations, with a total investment of about 22,000 billion VND, invested by EVNNPT under Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN).
In Thanh Hoa, the project has 132km of line running through, including 299 pole foundation locations and 137 anchoring spaces. Of which, the 500kV Nam Dinh I Thermal Power Plant - Thanh Hoa line project has 133 pole foundation locations and 55 anchoring spaces. The 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa line project has 166 pole foundation locations and 82 anchoring spaces.
Up to now, Thanh Hoa province has mobilized the handover of all 299 column foundation locations to the investor for construction and 110/137 anchor spaces, reaching 80.3%. Currently, the province is focusing on directing relevant functional sectors, units and localities to make efforts to hand over the remaining anchor spaces.

Visiting the site of the 70-71 anchorage area in Nga An commune (Nga Son), Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan acknowledged and commended all levels, sectors, investors, contractors, and local authorities for their efforts and efforts to overcome many difficulties to hand over clean land to the contractor to implement the construction on schedule. At the same time, he requested Nga Son district to closely coordinate with the Northern Power Project Management Board and the contractor to urgently clear the route corridor - mainly trees - to hand over 100% clean land to the anchorage areas to proceed with wire pulling as planned.

Through the actual inspection and assignment of tasks to relevant units, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The 500kV line project, circuit 3, is a national key project, directly directed by the Prime Minister to promote development and ensure national energy security. Therefore, the contractor needs to clearly define its role and responsibility, thereby focusing on construction to ensure progress, quality, technique and aesthetics of the project. At the same time, absolutely ensure labor safety during the construction process.

Due to difficulties in site clearance, the construction progress of this column is slower than required. However, the contractor is currently speeding up the progress to ensure compliance with the plan and requirements.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated: There is not much time left until the completion of the project, while the workload is still very large, the construction is carried out in unusual weather conditions, so the relevant units and contractors need to coordinate closely with each other in performing assigned tasks, especially in removing difficulties and obstacles during the construction process.
The construction progress of column 119 is being accelerated.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan requested Hau Loc district to coordinate with functional units to urgently carry out assigned tasks, ensuring that by May 20, 2024 at the latest, the "clean" route corridor site must be handed over so that the contractor can carry out the remaining work.
