Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi met with voters of Tan Hoa and Tan Hoi wards.

On the afternoon of January 8, delegate Lu Quang Ngoi - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and delegates of the People's Councils at two levels (province and city) had a meeting with voters of Tan Hoa and Tan Hoi wards ( Vinh Long city).

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi talked with voters on the sidelines of the meeting.

At the meeting, the delegates of the People's Councils at two levels informed voters about the results of the 8th session of the 10th Provincial People's Council and the 10th session of the 12th Vinh Long People's Council, along with the results of resolving voters' opinions and recommendations at previous meetings.

On this occasion, voters proposed measures to properly resolve the situation of road construction affecting and damaging fruit orchards and causing cracks in people's houses; maintain and repair degraded and flooded road sections during the rainy season; pay attention to warranty and maintenance of roads; and resolve projects that have been suspended for many years.

Voters send petitions to People's Council delegates at two levels.

Voters also made recommendations on issues related to Resolution 05 of the Provincial People's Council on promulgating regulations on areas within the inner city of cities, towns, townships, and residential areas where livestock farming is not allowed; areas for raising swiftlets and support policies when relocating livestock facilities out of areas where livestock farming is not allowed in Vinh Long province; Resolution No. 54 of the Provincial People's Council regulating the level of severance support for part-time commune and town police officers with less than 15 years of service due to the implementation of the Project on Mobilizing regular police officers to take on commune police positions according to Decision No. 658 of the Chairman of the Vinh Long Provincial People's Committee.

The People's Council delegates at both levels took note and, together with local authorities, took turns explaining and clarifying voters' opinions and recommendations.
