Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan worked with Khanh Vinh district on promoting socio-economic development.

On March 21, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee worked with Khanh Vinh district on promoting local socio -economic development after escaping poverty. Attending the meeting were also leaders of specialized departments and branches of the province.

On February 24, 2025, the Prime Minister issued a decision to recognize Khanh Vinh district as escaping poverty in 2025. This is a great driving force in promoting the local socio-economic development in the coming time. Speaking at the meeting, the leader of Khanh Vinh district said that in order to maintain the poverty reduction criteria and become a well-off and rich district, in the coming time, the locality will focus on developing key agricultural sectors, with key crops of high economic efficiency such as: green-skinned grapefruit, durian, jackfruit, mango...; developing livestock farms, raw material forests; focusing on developing industry and handicrafts; prioritizing resources to develop local tourism.

Mr. Nguyen Sy Khanh - Secretary of Khanh Vinh District Party Committee reported on a number of key issues being implemented by the district in 2025.

Khanh Vinh district strives to reduce the multidimensional poverty rate in the area to below 13% by the end of 2025, increase the average income per capita in the area to more than 40 million VND/person/year; continue to accelerate site clearance work, urgently invest in large projects and works in the area...

Khanh Vinh district leaders recommended that the province continue to maintain mechanisms, policies, and specific resources to help the district maintain effective poverty reduction and move towards prosperity for ethnic minorities in mountainous areas; continue to have support policies foreducation , vocational training, and job creation for local people; promptly approve the planning and land use plan of Khanh Vinh district to create conditions for the district to quickly implement site clearance for investment in key projects...

Mr. Van Ngoc Huong - Chairman of Khanh Vinh District People's Committee reported on a number of key tasks and solutions to help Khanh Vinh district escape poverty sustainably.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan requested that in the coming time, Khanh Vinh district should both reorganize and streamline its apparatus in accordance with the orientation and direction of the Central Government and the province and effectively carry out socio-economic development tasks to escape from poverty sustainably, aiming at the goal of building Khanh Vinh into a well-off and rich district. The district should continue to promote local strengths to develop the economy, propagate and mobilize people to change their habits and production methods to increase their income and living standards; focus on converting the structure of crops and livestock, training, and creating jobs for workers, especially ethnic minority workers, poor households, near-poor households, and newly escaped poverty households.
