Vietnamese Ambassador to Australia Pham Hung Tam worked online and delivered a welcoming speech to the delegation via the bridge of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association in Australia.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Ba Phuc, Chairman of the Vietnamese Entrepreneurs Association in Australia, informed that many countries, including Australia, are very interested in learning about suppliers and manufacturers from Vietnam to diversify their supply sources. Enterprises also affirmed that they will continue to play a good role as a bridge to promote trade, investment, and business, contributing to the construction of the homeland and the country, especially in the field of tourism ; attract foreign investment, promote intellectual resources from those studying in Australia, attract tourists from Australia to visit Vietnam, including Hai Duong; send Vietnamese workers to Australia to work, promote the export of agricultural products and goods of the province to Australia, etc.

The Vietnamese Business Association in Australia was established in early 2010 and currently has about 500 members. Among them are some people from Hai Duong who are quite successful in the field of high-tech agriculture , providing human resource development... The association has actively supported Vietnamese enterprises exporting to Australia; promptly reflected the development situation of the homeland and the country; promoted trade, displayed, introduced, and brought Vietnamese goods to Australian supermarkets.

Also at the meeting, many Hai Duong and Vietnamese businessmen in Australia spoke and shared that they always look towards their homeland and follow every step of the country's development. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung called on businessmen to invest in Hai Duong to build their homeland and develop the country.

On the same day, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung worked with the Department of Trade and Investment (VGTI) under the Government of Victoria State; representatives of the High-Tech Agriculture Department, the Regional Innovation Network, the Department of Agricultural Development, the Ministry of Energy, Environment and Climate Action; Cellysis and Beanstalk companies to learn about agricultural product preservation technology, especially lychees, carrots, vegetables, fruits, etc. for export to international markets.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung and the provincial delegation worked with Mr. Mark Sloan - Head of High-tech Agriculture Department, Regional Innovation Network, Department of Agricultural Development, Ministry of Energy, Environment and Climate Action and food technology scientist of Cellysis Company.

At the meeting, Cellysis Company introduced a new cold storage technology combining 3 approved chemicals to extend the storage time up to 60 days after harvest while still maintaining quality, color, and beautiful appearance, serving well for long-distance shipping by sea, saving costs and increasing export output. The company also introduced some types of Australian government start-up support funds for businesses, including agricultural businesses and Vietnamese businesses in Australia.

Representatives of Kim Chinh Company, Hai Duong invited experts from Cellysis Company to directly experiment with preserving this technology on lychee during the upcoming lychee harvest season in May.

Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung affirmed that the Provincial People's Committee and the provincial departments and branches are committed to always accompanying and creating the best conditions for Vietnamese and Australian enterprises to promote research and technology transfer to serve the development of fruit, vegetable and agricultural production in the province in the coming time.
