According to the report of the Provincial Party Committee, in the first 6 months of 2025, with the spirit of resolutely implementing the work of arranging administrative units at the provincial and communal levels; the socio -economic situation, national defense - security and implementation of the task of collecting and spending the State budget of the province achieved positive results. Notably, the growth rate of the total product in the province (GRDP) increased by 7%. The index of industrial production (IIP) increased by 4.6% over the same period, of which the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 14%. Agricultural production remained stable. Tourism activities continued to develop well, the whole province welcomed more than 5.54 million visitors, an increase of 18.49%; revenue reached over 15,000 billion VND, reaching 53.37% of the plan. Export turnover reached 581.5 million USD, an increase of 27.16% over the same period. Total retail sales of goods and service revenue reached VND 61,145 billion, up 13.64% over the same period in 2024. State budget revenue is estimated at VND 5,913 billion, reaching 56.86% of the estimate, up 4.89% over the same period; of which, domestic revenue is VND 5,360 billion, reaching 57.95% of the estimate and up 10.75% over the same period.

The province has resolutely directed the disbursement of public investment capital. The arrangement of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee has been completed; preparations have been made for the discontinuation of district-level administrative units and the merger of provincial and commune-level administrative units. The fields of education, health, culture, sports, and social security continue to receive attention; political security and social order and safety have been maintained.
Regarding Party building work, the entire Party Committee has organized the study, dissemination, and concretization of the Directives, Resolutions, conclusions, and regulations of the Central Committee and the province. Political and ideological education work has been strengthened; information and propaganda work has been promoted, ideological situation has been grasped, information orientation has been oriented, and public opinion has been grasped, and complicated issues have not occurred. The work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation has achieved many clear results. The study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style continues to go into depth.

Along with that, the province has proactively led the timely and urgent implementation of the Central Resolutions and Conclusions on the work of reorganizing the apparatus, implementing the arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels and organizing the two-level local government system, ensuring progress as required. Focusing on leading and directing the preparation work for Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Coordinating with Lam Dong and Dak Nong Provincial Party Committees to implement the work of merging provinces and preparing for the Lam Dong Provincial Congress (new) for the 2025-2030 term.
At the conference, delegates focused on contributing ideas to the contents related to Party building, socio-cultural work and economic development after the province's merger. Notable issues were Party building, development of the province's tourism industry after the province's merger into the new Lam Dong province; bidding and auctioning of State land funds to create budget revenue when transferring the new commune administrative model; arranging civil servants and public employees at the commune and ward levels to ensure quality; resolving policies for civil servants and public employees who retire after the apparatus is reorganized...

Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized a number of key tasks in the coming time. In particular, focusing on completing preparations for the merger of the new Lam Dong province, ending district-level activities and preparing for the operation of the new commune, ward and special economic zone levels. At the same time, paying attention to important tasks to ensure socio-economic development for the (new) Lam Dong province. The Provincial Party Secretary noted that in the process of building the new Lam Dong province, he would request the new Lam Dong Party Committee to pay attention to socio-economic development, national defense and security, and pay attention to the factors that Binh Thuan has identified to have a common leadership orientation in the new Lam Dong province, creating harmonious and sustainable development throughout the area.
Regarding specific recommendations, the Provincial Party Secretary requested relevant agencies and localities to proactively and promptly implement land policies when provincial and communal authorities (newly established) come into operation, not leaving any legal gaps that affect the rights and legitimate interests of land users. Strengthening the management of land, environment, and construction order; promptly preventing and strictly handling acts of encroachment on public land, project land, illegal exploitation, transportation, and trading of minerals, etc.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested to receive comments to complete the draft conclusion of the Provincial Party Committee (Term XIV) on the assessment of the socio-economic situation, national defense and security; implementation of the State budget revenue and expenditure tasks in the first 6 months of the year; key tasks in the coming time. On that basis, Party committees and authorities at all levels focus on leading and directing the implementation; report the results to the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for monitoring and direction.
