(NLDO)- The program is like an artistic epic recreating the century-long history of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism.

A special art program to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) took place on the evening of June 20 at the Hanoi Opera House, broadcast live on VTV1. Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, attended the event.

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized: "100 years, a period of time enough for a seed to turn into an ancient tree, for a quiet stream to turn into a large river of rolling alluvium. And in those 100 years, from the first newspaper named "Thanh Nien" in 1925 founded and led by leader Nguyen Ai Quoc, the Vietnamese revolutionary press has matured, always accompanying the nation and the country, becoming a core force, a pioneer on the ideological and cultural front, making outstanding contributions in every development journey of the country's revolution. The press always plays a pioneering role: " Going first to pave the way - Going together to implement - Going after to summarize" . The milestone of 100 years of revolutionary press is a fulcrum to continue on a new journey that is deeper, more creative and more inspiring, in a more professional, more modern, more humane and more dedicated direction".

The program is like an artistic epic recreating the century-long history of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism and the journey of fighting and serving of generations of Vietnamese journalists.

The program consists of 4 chapters. Chapter I: "The Beginning - The Foundation of Hundreds of Years of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism"; Chapter II: "The Fierceness of the National Resistance War - Dedication and Contribution of the Revolutionary Journalism"; Chapter III: "Gratitude"; Chapter IV: "The Era of Rising - Prosperity, Power, Journalism Accompanying the Nation".

The program has the participation of many leading artists such as People's Artist Quoc Hung, People's Artist Thanh Lam, Meritorious Artist Viet Hoan, Meritorious Artist Khanh Ngoc, singers Trong Tan, Dao To Loan, Viet Danh, Xuan Hao, Thu Hang...

Combining singing, dancing, music, artistic commentary, documentary reporting, screen graphics... the program brings solemnity, harmony, joy, demonstrating the tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism through 100 years of building, contributing and developing.

This art program aims to demonstrate the significance, stature, value and great contribution, fulfilling the glorious mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press; demonstrating the role of the press always accompanying the revolutionary path of the Party and Uncle Ho, with the glorious history of struggle in the history of building and defending the country of the nation.

Through the program, to propagate to all classes of people about love for homeland, country, love for the profession, pride of journalists, worthy of being one of the pioneering shock forces, sharp weapons on the ideological and cultural front of the Party; honor the contributions of the Vietnamese revolutionary press to the country's development achievements in all fields.
