A week later, the final round of Miss Earth Vietnam will have the participation of 46 contestants, held in Hai Phong City.
If nothing changes, in just a few weeks, 3 beauty queens and 6 runners-up will be on the Vietnamese beauty map.
In recent days, a series of small and medium-sized beauty pageants have been taking place. There are contests that when the names are announced, the public cannot even remember the contestants' names or the organizers.
Miss Vietnam and Miss Universe meet for the first time
In previous years, major beauty pageants were often held at the end of the year. For example, the most recent Miss Cosmo Vietnam - Miss Universe Vietnam took place at the end of 2023 with the final held in Da Lat City on the evening of December 31. Bui Thi Xuan Hanh surpassed 37 contestants to be crowned the highest position. Miss Cosmo Vietnam 2023 also concluded the 15th anniversary season of this brand and opened a new journey for Unicorp, the organizer of the contest. Despite efforts, changes in format and criteria for selecting contestants to be crowned, the first season of Miss Cosmo Vietnam was also filled with instability. Beauty fans expressed disappointment and regret after the final night of the contest.
After more than two years, the second season of Miss Cosmo Vietnam officially returned on March 19. After the selection rounds, the judges selected 45 beauties to go to the Cosmo Camp training round. In the past few days, the contestants have gone through the sub-competitions and some sideline activities such as Carnival Costume performances combined with street parades in the coastal city of Nha Trang.

At the same time as Miss Cosmo Vietnam is Miss Vietnam 2024. The most recent seasons of Miss Vietnam all took place in the last quarter of the year. Specifically, the final of Miss Vietnam 2022 took place on the night of December 23 in Ho Chi Minh City with the highest position belonging to Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy. Or in 2020, Do Thi Ha was crowned on the evening of November 20 in Ho Chi Minh City. In the 2018 season, the final took place on the evening of September 16 with the victory for Tran Tieu Vy.
However, due to some changes in the organization, notably Sen Vang withdrawing from this beauty pageant after a decade of accompanying, Miss Vietnam 2024 had to change its schedule. Instead of taking place at the end of 2024, the latest Miss Vietnam season will start in the summer of 2025.
