Lots of pressure and no privileges

He didn't ask for anything, he was just afraid, like he was afraid that his daughter had never acted before, afraid that it would affect the film crew, afraid that she wouldn't be able to act. Before each scene, he read the script and analyzed it with his daughter. After that, he discussed with the director how to make her act the best. Thanks to Vo Hoai Nam, Hoai Anh was able to integrate into the film crew so quickly, and her acting was also very natural."

According to artist Tu Oanh, it was not until the day he met the actors before filming Rain on Butterfly Wings that Bui Thac Phong learned that his mother played the main role. Because before that, artist Tu Oanh had told the director and the film crew not to reveal it to her son for fear that Phong would feel pressured.

Director Bui Tien Huy commented: "Actors who come from a family of artists have the advantage of being exposed to art from a young age, so they have a better sense of art and this quality is formed very early. However, they will have a difficulty compared to actors with a normal starting point, which is being under a lot of pressure from the huge shadow of their parents. If they cannot overcome this pressure, it will be difficult to succeed."
