Director of the Social Policy Bank, Quang Tri Branch, Tran Duc Xuan Huong, said that in order to promote digital transformation, the unit focuses on implementing the project of modernizing the Social Policy Bank's information technology, aiming to provide new utilities and services to customers, properly implementing the procedures and regulations on information technology, ensuring information security and system security.
In particular, focusing on developing infrastructure, equipment and technology to ensure full and modernity, investing in the application of new technologies, researching and building utilities to serve management, operation, statistical reporting, digitizing some stages in the business process, automating to replace manual work to improve labor productivity.
Since February 2014, the Intellect Corebanking system, as the core software of the bank, has been officially deployed throughout the system, meeting the operational requirements of the Social Policy Bank. In particular, the Intellect system has effectively supported and enhanced the ability to control and monitor the operational process of the Social Policy Bank. At the same time, the system also provides automatic processing mechanisms, reducing the amount of manual work that staff must perform, and limiting errors in the operational process.
With the characteristics of transaction activities in communes with limited telecommunication infrastructure, the Bank for Social Policies, Quang Tri branch, has deployed the Intellect Offline application software solution to meet the requirements of this specific business operation. The solution has supported transactions for 119 commune transaction points throughout the province.
At commune transaction points, the application of the one-stop transaction process has helped the Social Policy Bank serve borrowers quickly and accurately, while at the same time controlling more closely and shortening transaction time at the commune. From there, the units base on the number of customers coming to transact in each commune, ward, and town to arrange the appropriate number of transaction staff to meet service capacity.
In addition, the branch deploys many applications to serve the provision and management of credit capital for people. In particular, the Policy Credit Management application (QLTDCS) is for those working in policy credit management (heads of savings and loan groups, village heads, officials of commune-level poverty reduction committees, chairmen of commune-level People's Committees, leaders of socio-political organizations at all levels, representative boards at all levels, officials of the Social Policy Bank...).
The application has been highly appreciated for its usefulness in the daily work of policy credit managers, especially for heads of savings and loan groups and commune People's Committee chairmen. The QLTDCS application is a software that operates on smartphones with the functions of providing information on policy credit activities and performing some operations in the lending process in the digital environment. To date, the QLTDCS application has been officially deployed to 100% of users, helping them to monitor and promptly grasp the actual situation of policy credit activities under management.
VBSP Smartbanking application is a banking service on smartphones, designed for all customers, especially poor households, ethnic minorities, remote areas... to perform transactions quickly 24/7, anytime, anywhere. This application has convenient services such as money transfer, interest payment, transaction inquiry on account; checking payment accounts, deposits, loans...
At the same time, there are also service features such as: payment of electricity bills, telecommunications fees, train tickets, airline tickets, tuition fees, insurance, e-wallet, financial loans, tax payments, securities, payment via QR code... helping customers control transaction time, perform operations on smartphones without having to go directly to the bank.
In addition, the unit also widely deployed an app to manage loan trust activities on smartphones for officers of associations, organizations receiving trusts and officers of the Social Policy Bank in the area. The app includes functions to exploit data on trust activities of associations, organizations at all levels, data, detailed statements for each customer and savings and credit group, provide information on the activities of the Provincial Social Policy Bank and notify when there are changes or additions to credit policies for poor households and other policy subjects; notify the results of approving the list of households eligible for loans, disbursement schedules, etc.
In the management and operation of the Quang Tri Social Policy Bank, many other application software are also deployed throughout the system such as: human resource management, emulation and rewards, training, document management... Especially the work support software system (HTCT), this is a web-based application software system that includes many utilities to support management, operation, inspection, supervision, statistics and reporting. At the same time, the HTCT system also digitizes many business processes in lending activities, shortening time and increasing accuracy for customers and staff of the Provincial Social Policy Bank.
In order to promptly deploy new digital utilities, the Bank for Social Policies, Quang Tri branch, has promoted the spirit of actively researching and applying information technology in its operations, building many innovative initiatives, especially in information technology, which have been recognized and applied to bring about efficiency in the process of managing and providing policy credit sources to the people.
