(Baoquangngai.vn) - On the morning of June 6, more than 15,000 candidates from Quang Ngai took the first exam subject - Literature in the 10th grade high school entrance exam, school year 2024 - 2025. The literature essay section was the work "The Story of a Nam Xuong Girl" by writer Nguyen Du.

Phan Le Hoang My, a student at Nguyen Nghiem Secondary School, said that the exam questions were close to the review content and did not go beyond the core knowledge. She reviewed very carefully and confidently completed 80-90% of the exam questions.

After finishing the exam, he will be excited because there is someone waiting for him, and willing to share with him," Mr. Ket confided.

Nguyen Ngoc Nhu Quynh, a student at Tinh Giang Secondary School, said that when she entered the exam room, she was quite confident because the test was within her ability. She could get 7-8 points. The writing section is very familiar to students. The reading comprehension section has a clear differentiation of students, suitable for good and excellent students.

After 120 minutes of taking the exam, many candidates left the exam room in a relaxed and excited mood. The candidates commented that this year's Literature exam was within their ability and within the review program, but most of them were surprised because the writing part was not poetry but a short story.

Candidate Truong Thi Y Chi, a student at Duc Phong Secondary School, said that this year's Literature exam was not too difficult and was close to students. She thoroughly reviewed the poems in the curriculum, but this year the writing section continued with short stories. Although it was a bit surprising, the work "The Story of a Nam Xuong Girl" was very good and easy to analyze, so she did quite well. She is confident that she will get over 7 points in the Literature exam.

Dr. Nguyen Quoc Khoa, a student at Minh Thanh Secondary School, Duc Minh Commune (Mo Duc), said that although Literature is not his strong point, this year's exam was quite suitable and included in the review program. He is an average student in Literature, but with this exam, he still hopes he can get more than 6 points.
