According to two Chinese experts, General Secretary To Lam 's first foreign visit after taking office demonstrates the high importance Vietnam and China attach to bilateral relations.

On the occasion of the state visit of General Secretary andPresident To Lam to China, VNA reporters in Beijing interviewed Dr. Duong Dan Chi, Deputy Director of the Center for Regional Security Studies under the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Dr. Cui Zhen Hai, Director of the Hong Kong Social Investment Institute (China) about the results of the visit.

According to the two experts, this is the first foreign visit of General Secretary and President To Lam after taking office, which demonstrates the high importance that Vietnam and China attach to bilateral relations, fully reflecting the historical and long-standing cooperative relationship between Vietnam and China that has reached a new height.

The delegations of the two countries included almost all senior leaders and leaders of ministries and sectors. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges in each specific field, laying a solid foundation for the increasingly deep development of the China-Vietnam relationship.

Assessing the results of the visit, Dr. Duong Dan Chi emphasized that the leaders of the two countries reached consensus on many aspects and many cooperation documents were signed.

After the visit, the two sides issued a Joint Statement on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and promoting the building of a Vietnam-China community of shared future.

The documents signed this time are very practical, relating to cooperation in many areas such as Party building, industry, finance, customs clearance, Vietnam's agricultural exports to China..., and also related to a number of areas of common interest.

This shows that, based on the great long-term goal of jointly building a community with a shared future, Vietnam-China bilateral cooperation is increasingly deepening and developing in a more practical direction.

Notably, the cooperation between the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics was mentioned during the visit, indicating that the two sides will further strengthen research and cooperation in the field of ideology, fully reflecting that the cooperative relations between China and Vietnam, as two neighboring socialist countries, can truly be further promoted and promoted at various levels and in various fields.

It can be said that the results of this visit are very outstanding, will certainly contribute to consolidating sustainable and stable bilateral relations, and at the same time have a positive impact on relations between China and Southeast Asian countries.

Sharing the same view, Dr. Thoi Chan Hai said that the two sides have deepened bilateral cooperation from a historical and strategic perspective.

More importantly, the two sides have continuously deepened the development of their existing foundations. This plays an important role in exploiting and promoting the environment and economic resources of the surrounding areas.

Especially in today's world, when the economic environment is changing dramatically and local conflicts are increasing, the deep, long-term and stable cooperative relationship between China and Vietnam has played an important role in supporting the stability of the international political environment and economic development across East Asia and Southeast Asia.

China hopes to continue to put forward more new ideas and promote cooperation with Vietnam in the fields of economy and trade, agriculture, transportation, culture, finance, and even in-depth exchanges and cooperation in party building.

This also reflects that the bilateral relationship contributes significantly to maintaining economic stability and prosperity in Asia as well as guiding the sustainable development of the world.

Commenting on the future development of cooperation between the two countries, Dr. Duong Dan Chi said that this visit by General Secretary and President To Lam shows that in the new period, the leaders of the two countries will continue to play a strategic leading role in the development of bilateral relations in the future.

The two sides can cooperate in more areas based on the belief of building a community with a shared future and strengthening strategic partnership. It is fully expected that China-Vietnam relations will reach new heights in the future.

Dr. Thoi Chan Hai said that in recent years, cooperation between the two countries in the fields of trade, economy and culture has continuously deepened.

After this visit, China and Vietnam will develop more detailed cooperation, exchange and integrate resources more deeply, achieve more connections; cooperation projects will be richer and more strategic.

China and Vietnam have now reached a stage of high-level and high-quality development, transforming from traditional resource-based manufacturing to high-quality, sophisticated manufacturing.

Therefore, bilateral cooperation will also have fundamental changes related to high-tech cooperation, in parallel with promoting deeper cooperation in agriculture, healthcare, or electronic information.../.
