Head of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee inspects Thuan An border commune

Thuan An is a border commune, a key area for national security and defense, with a large population of ethnic minorities. The commune was established by merging two communes, Thuan An and Dak Plao (formerly Dak Mil district, Dak Nong province).

According to the report of the Thuan An Commune Party Committee, the commune's Party organization has 37 grassroots Party organizations. Preparations for the commune-level Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term are being carried out on schedule and in accordance with requirements and regulations. The first commune-level Party Congress is expected to be held over two days, July 21st and 22nd, with the participation of over 180 official and alternate delegates.

Regarding the operation of the new commune-level government model, the staff and civil servants of Thuan An commune have promptly and diligently adapted to the work and basically addressed the needs of the people.

However, like many other localities, Thuan An commune is facing difficulties in terms of infrastructure, especially equipment and machinery, digital infrastructure, etc., which causes delays in processing documents for citizens and businesses.

During the meeting, the Secretary of the Thuận An Commune Party Committee, Lê Văn Hoàng, requested that Lâm Đồng province promptly allocate funds to implement activities according to the commune's functions and tasks, especially the funds for organizing the Commune Party Congress. He also requested consideration and allocation for the construction or renovation of the offices of some supporting agencies...

Huynh Ngoc Anh, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, urged the political system of Thuan An commune to continue to uphold its responsibilities and strive to achieve the targets set in the commune Party Committee's Resolution.

Based on on-site inspections and preliminary reports, the Head of the Internal Affairs Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, Huynh Ngoc Anh, assessed that, despite some difficulties, Thuan An commune has implemented the arrangement and organization of its apparatus, staffing, and operations in accordance with regulations.

In particular, the preparations for organizing the Thuận An Commune Party Congress have been fully and promptly directed and implemented by the local authorities. The Thuận An Commune Party Committee has seriously considered and incorporated the feedback from the Provincial Party Standing Committee to finalize the documents for the first Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department acknowledged the local recommendations. In the coming time, Lam Dong province will focus on investing in upgrading the infrastructure and facilities of the commune, prioritizing those communes facing greater difficulties.

Before, during, and after the congress, Thuan An commune continued to strengthen propaganda work, proactively guide ideology, understand the thoughts and aspirations of the people, and at the same time ensure security and order so that the congress would take place safely, in accordance with regulations, and effectively.

The leader of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department emphasized that, in the coming period, the entire political system of Thuan An commune will continue to uphold its responsibilities and strive to implement the targets of the commune Party Committee's Resolution; cadres and civil servants must improve the quality and attitude of serving the people in the performance of their duties.
