On the morning of September 19, Becamex TP.HCM denied some negative information related to coach Nguyen Anh Duc's team recently. Specifically, some news sites and videos said that a Becamex TP.HCM player reported a fake injury, and claimed that he was a Vietnamese national team player.

The above information caused a stir among fans, especially among the supporters of Becamex TP.HCM (formerly Becamex Binh Duong Club). Realizing the serious problem, causing internal turmoil, the leadership of Becamex TP.HCM Club confirmed that the above information was false.

"Some players are currently suffering from real injuries, being examined by doctors, diagnosed and given specific treatment plans.

The club always puts the players' health first and stands side by side with them during the recovery process," said the Binh Duong team.

In addition, the team also confirmed that there was no debt to player salaries. "The club has never been late or owed any money to the players. This is a principle that has been maintained throughout, demonstrating professionalism and transparency," the press release clearly stated.

Regarding the fact that two foreign players Ugochukwu Oduenyi and Origbaajo Ismaila cannot join the team due to visa problems, the club said that "it comes from objective factors related to immigration procedures and special regulations", and the club is actively coordinating to complete the procedures.

As of September 17, two Nigerian strikers, Ugochukwu Oduenyi and Origbaajo Ismaila, have not yet returned to Vietnam to continue playing for Becamex TP.HCM Club from round 4 of V-League 2025-2026.

According to the investigation, these two Nigerian players returned to the country when the V-League took a 2-week break for FIFA Days. When they returned to Vietnam, both foreign players were not allowed to enter the country due to visa problems.

Becamex TP.HCM Club will meet Ho Chi Minh City Police in round 4 at 6:00 p.m. on September 21 in Binh Duong.
