Hanoi is not in a hurry to register Hendrio in V.League 2025/26.

On the morning of August 8, information appeared that Hendrio was not on Hanoi's registration list for the first leg of V.League 2025/26. According to Tri Thuc - Znews , the capital team is carrying out naturalization procedures for the Brazilian midfielder.

This season, VPF allows teams to change foreign and domestic players until the end of round 3. This means that Hanoi can register Hendrio as a foreign player or a Vietnamese player of foreign origin depending on the actual situation.

Hendrio is currently considered one of the best foreign players in the V.League. This player has long expressed his desire to stay with Vietnamese football for a long time, even hoping to wear the national team jersey like his old teammate Xuan Son in Nam Dinh .

Hendrio's contract with Hanoi FC is for 3 years. The Brazilian midfielder started his career in Vietnam in 2021 with Binh Dinh. He shone in the 2022 season, playing the role of "conductor" and scoring 9 goals, helping the team win the V.League bronze medal and the National Cup runner-up. After that, Hendrio parted ways because he could not reach a new contract agreement.

In December 2022, Hendrio joined Nam Dinh and became a mainstay in the team's playing style. In the 2023/24 season, he contributed greatly to helping the team win the first V.League championship in history.

Hendrio is expected to add more creativity to the attack and help the capital team compete fairly in the new season.
