Simultaneously, they received artificial lenses from the Asian Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness (APBA).
Previously, on August 7-8, 41 eligible individuals completed the admission procedures and pre-operative examinations at the Ophthalmology Department. On the afternoon of August 8, the surgeries began and continued until August 10.
