Author Vu Thi Anh, from Hamlet 6, Tho Binh Commune, was honored with the First Prize in the competition for her project "Cultivating and deep-processing products from red glutinous turmeric grown on rocky mountains".
Outstanding authors and groups of authors advanced to the final round and received awards at the competition.
Attending the event were Comrade Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives from several provincial departments and agencies; and leaders of businesses in the province.
After more than four months of implementation, the "Startup Project Competition for Youth Union Members and Young People in 2025" attracted 86 registered projects across various fields and industries. Following the preliminary and semi-final rounds, based on each field, the competition organizers selected eight projects to advance to the final round. In the final round, contestants presented, defended, and discussed their projects, seeking investment and collaboration for their implementation.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union delivered the opening speech for the competition.
At the end of the competition, the organizing committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, and 2 consolation prizes to the authors and groups of authors. Among them, author Vu Thi Anh from Hamlet 6, Tho Binh Commune, excellently won the first prize with her project "Cultivating and deep-processing products from red glutinous turmeric grown on rocky mountains".
The projects “Black Sugar Mac Khen Salt – The Flavor of the Mountains and Forests” by author Ha Thi Xem, Yen Thang Agricultural Service Cooperative, and “Smart Scoreboard for Live Streaming Football on Mobile Phones” by author Mai The Son, Nga Son Commune, won second prize in the competition.
Comrades Dau Thanh Tung, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Le Ngoc Anh, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, presented plaques of capital support to 5 projects participating in the competition.
Third prize was awarded to the following projects: “Thanh Hoa Green Eel – a model of mudless eel farming in a recirculating system” by authors Nguyen Duy Duc, Nguyen Thi Anh Ngoc, Nguyen Thi Phuong Uyen, Nguyen Thi Thanh Huyen, Trinh Dinh Duong (Hong Duc University); “Onetrip – Traveling with the Future” by authors Nguyen Nam Quan, Hoang Ngoc Thao Anh, Nguyen Dang Son Tung, Pham Tuan Minh, Nguyen Dinh Dai (Vinschool Star City Primary, Secondary & High School); and “Tan Ninh Commune Animal Conservation Cooperative combined with ecotourism ” by authors Le Van Lam, Nguyen Thi Huong, Le Trong Le, Le Thi Sam (Hamlet 2, Tan Ninh Commune).
Following the competition, provincial leaders and leaders of the Provincial Youth Union provided funding support to 5 projects that participated in the competition.
