Hanoi FC plays short in China, continues to lose in AFC Champions League

After two defeats against Pohang Steelers (2-4) and Urawa Red Diamonds (0-6), Hanoi FC is determined to find its first point in the AFC Champions League with an away match against Wuhan Three Towns, taking place at 7:00 p.m. on October 24.

Although they only have 1 point after 2 matches, Wuhan team made a strong impression when they drew with Urawa and only lost to Pohang with one less player.

The Chinese representative quickly showed their strength when they rushed to attack right after the opening whistle in the match against Hanoi FC. With the safety advantage, Wuhan FC played cautiously, keeping the match's tempo at a moderate level. Meanwhile, despite wanting to push forward to score, Hanoi FC encountered many difficulties. Although they managed to rekindle hope in the 87th minute when Tuan Hai broke through and finished strongly, defeating goalkeeper Liu Dianzuo, the remaining time was not enough for the away team to come back and score.

Coach Le Cong Tuan's players accepted defeat with a score of 1-2.
