This event marks the 10th anniversary of CMC ATI's formation, research, and technological development. CMC ATI's achievements have not only contributed to the development of the domestic IT industry but have also established the "Make
in Vietnam" mark on the international market. At the event,
the Ministry of Information and Communications awarded certificates of merit to the CMC ATI team and to Director Dang Minh Tuan. This is well-deserved recognition for the tireless efforts, creativity, and pioneering spirit of CMC ATI in the field of R&D, contributing to the overall development of the Information and Communications industry over the past 10 years. Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Phan Tam highly appreciated CMC ATI's pioneering role in research and application of technology: "The CMC Institute for Applied Technology Research's main task is 'research' - researching digital technology, but what brings value to CMC and to Vietnam lies in 'application' - applying digital technology so that all citizens can benefit from the achievements of digital technology. In more than 10 years of effort, CMC ATI has achieved many research results, bringing research into life." The Ministry of Information and Communications believes that CMC ATI will continue to build on its achievements, enhance its research and development capabilities, and constantly innovate to achieve many new successes. Together with CMC Group, CMC ATI can research and select some of the following directions to focus on developing together with the group.

Mr. Phan Tam, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, presented a certificate of commendation to the collective of CMC Institute for Applied Technology Research (CMC ATI).
Established in 2014, CMC ATI has continuously pioneered research and development of technology solutions. After 10 years, the Institute has built an open AI ecosystem with 25 core technologies and 10 commercialized products, creating breakthroughs in the fields of AI/BigData, IoT/Smart Devices, Security/Blockchain, and IC-Design. In particular, the facial recognition technology developed by CMC ATI has reached the Top 12
globally and Top 1 in Vietnam, becoming a great source of pride for the domestic technology industry. Another proud achievement of the Institute is the C-OCR solution, successfully implemented not only in provinces and cities nationwide but also at Japan's largest automotive manufacturer, affirming Vietnam's technology export capabilities. These will be crucial tools to help CMC successfully "Go Global".

AI.X Strategic Vision: Launching New AI Products CMC AIVISION and CMC AIBox. CMC ATI is committed to expanding its AI.X strategic vision, aiming to be a pioneer in the AI field and broaden its applications to healthcare, education, and automation. Within the framework of the event, CMC ATI officially launched two new AI products: CMC AIVISION and CMC AIBOX.

Dr. Dang Minh Tuan, Director of CMC ATI Institute, introduced a demo of a new AI product to Deputy Minister Phan Tam and other delegates.
CMC AIVISION is an AI camera device that processes data at the edge, serving applications such as facial recognition, abnormal behavior detection, fire and explosion alerts, traffic violations, and license plate recognition.
The launch ceremony for the new products CMC AI VISION and CMC AIBOX was held.
Integrating edge processing technology reduces latency and saves network bandwidth, secures data through local storage, and operates independently of the internet connection. The device can send alert signals and store data via multiple methods such as LAN, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. CMC AIBOX transforms regular cameras into AI cameras, enabling facial recognition, behavior detection, age identification, and can be customized into an AIoT Gateway, Home Server, or Office Server for storing and sharing documents like a NAS device. It offers flexibility in collecting data from IoT devices via multiple protocols such as Bluetooth, 4G, and Zigbee, and performing AI-based analysis at the edge without needing to connect to an AI server.

CMC ATI - 10 years of making a mark with the "Make in Vietnam" initiative.
The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the journey and reaffirm CMC ATI's strong commitment to developing AI technology in Vietnam. With the launch of CMC AIVISION and CMC AIBOX, CMC ATI not only demonstrated its pioneering position in the AI field but also made a significant contribution to the national digital transformation, aiming to make Vietnam a leading technology nation in the region and the world.
