(QBĐT) - Mr. Nguyen Cong Chung, Head of the Minh Hoa District Forest Protection Department, said that there are currently 32 wild animal breeding facilities in the district.

Of these, there are 9 regular wildlife conservation facilities, with a total of 213 individuals of porcupines, golden-cheeked bamboo rats, and don; 23 wildlife conservation facilities of endangered, precious, rare species and endangered wild animals listed in CITES Appendix are granted codes according to regulations, with a total of 212 individuals of palm civets and palm civets.

Through inspection and supervision, in general, the GNĐVR facilities in Minh Hoa district have complied well with current regulations of the State, and there have been no violations in the GNĐVR process.

In particular, all GNĐVR facilities have records proving legal origin, have activity tracking books, and import and export records of GNĐVR are fully stored in accordance with regulations.

The bold GNĐVR has initially brought quite high economic efficiency to some households, contributing to creating more job opportunities, opening up a way to escape poverty and become rich in the mountainous district of Minh Hoa.
