(PLVN) - On the morning of May 26, teacher Nguyen Thi Mai - a primary school teacher at Hong Quang commune - Nam Truc - Nam Dinh successfully saved a student who jumped off Do Quan bridge.

On the morning of May 26, 2025, Teacher Nguyen Thi Mai was on her way to take her mother from Cau Voi to Nam Dinh City for a medical examination. When she reached Do Quan Bridge, she saw a student struggling in the middle of the water. Without hesitation, she jumped in and saved the student from the rushing water and brought him safely to shore.
