"A golden opportunity" for members of the People's Public Security Force to compete, contribute, and surpass themselves.

Minister Luong Tam Quang presented gifts to 15 delegates representing the delegations attending the Congress of Political and Social Organizations at the meeting.

On the afternoon of December 15th, in Hanoi, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau, Secretary of the Central Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security, and Minister of Public Security, met with delegates attending the Congress of political and social organizations of the Ministry of Public Security for the 2025-2030 term.

Presenting a summary report on the organization and activities of the Youth Union, Women's Union, and Trade Union, and the results of organizing congresses of political and social organizations at all levels within the People's Public Security, including the organization of the Youth Union Congress, the Women's Union Congress of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Trade Union of the People's Public Security for the 2025-2030 term, Major General Ngo Hoai Thu, Deputy Director of Political Affairs, stated: As of December 2025, the entire force has 82 political and social organizations at the higher level directly above the grassroots, 5,580 grassroots organizations, and nearly 250,000 members present in all areas and fields of police work.

"Regardless of the location or field of work, police officers and their members always uphold the glorious traditions of the force; they are exemplary, leading the way, and inspiring all strata of the people in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; contributing to spreading a positive image of revolutionary police officers in the hearts of the people," Major General Ngo Hoai Thu emphasized.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed: Among the achievements and results of the Public Security force, there is a significant contribution from political and social organizations, and from cadres, union members, and association members of the People's Public Security.

According to the Minister, in special cases and investigations targeting "hot spots" and various types of crime, many union members and association members have demonstrated their courage, intelligence, expertise, sharp professional skills, and resolute spirit in attacking and suppressing crime, making positive contributions to the protection of security and order.

Among the "miraculous" achievements, considered pioneering and leading by the Ministry of Public Security in the past term, the following must be mentioned: building the National Population Database; Government Project 06; and developing and perfecting laws on new, complex, and unprecedented issues.

In the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind," and the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, we see the image of police officers, young people, and women's union members acting as pioneers, overcoming difficulties and hardships, and persistently staying at the grassroots level.

These comrades have actively participated in disease prevention and control, going door-to-door to collect data; contributing their efforts to building houses for the poor in remote areas; braving floods and storms to participate in rescue and relief efforts, helping the people; sponsoring and supporting disadvantaged children; and continuing to fulfill their dreams of going to school.

The blue-bereted officers of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force bravely face danger to be present at "hot spots" around the world to build peace and ensure the enforcement of international law; leaving a deep impression on the people as police officers who "sacrifice themselves for the country and serve the people."

In every field, there is a significant contribution from union members, women, trade unions, and socio-political organizations, General Luong Tam Quang emphasized.

In his directives and assignment of tasks for the coming period, Minister Luong Tam Quang requested that the Congresses of political and social organizations unify their understanding of the new revolutionary stage of the country. He emphasized that the vigorous implementation of the Party's policies and strategies, and the increasingly demanding tasks of the Public Security force, represent a "golden moment" and a "golden opportunity" for each Youth Union, Association, Trade Union, and its members to compete, contribute, and surpass themselves.

Youth Union, Association, and Trade Union organizations need to affirm their pioneering role in implementing the Resolution of the 8th Congress of the Party Committee of the Central Public Security Ministry with concrete results and products. The focus should be on pioneering the emulation movement "Three Best: Most Disciplined - Most Loyal - Closest to the People." Pioneering the development of science and technology, digital transformation, and the transformation of working conditions. Leading, guiding, and forming the core of the "Digital Literacy Movement." Pioneering the implementation of the policy on developing a self-reliant, self-sufficient, dual-use, and modern security industry; accessing key areas, strategic technologies, foundational technologies, and core technologies. Pioneering in implementing social welfare work, supporting vulnerable people, rescuing people, and helping people in times of difficulty and hardship...

The Minister emphasized that successfully organizing the Congress of Political and Social Organizations for the 2025-2030 term, clearly defining the direction and tasks for the next term, and striving to create breakthrough changes and significant achievements in the work of political and social organizations will contribute to the successful implementation of the goals of the Public Security work.

The targets, goals, and tasks for the next term must be highly ambitious. Specific areas of focus and leadership should be defined, with measurable results. The responsibilities of the organizations, associations, and their members, especially the leaders of political and social organizations, must be clearly defined.

The proposed solutions must inspire enthusiasm, creativity, innovation, a spirit of dedication and striving to surpass oneself, creating miracles in the implementation of tasks by union members and association members.
