Mr. Tran Minh Son - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province and Ms. Le Binh Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh province co-chaired the meeting.
Also attending the meeting were the leaders of the Labor Federation, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Farmers' Association, Women's Union; and members of the Project Development Team of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces.

At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of issues that needed to be agreed upon, including: Draft (3rd time) of the Project on reorganizing and streamlining the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio- political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and State to Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces; expected plan for reorganizing committees, number of staff, and arrangement of leaders after the merger.
According to the proposed arrangement plan within the Gia Lai Province Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (new), the total number of civil servants and public employees is 212 people and 27 labor contracts (HĐLĐ). It is expected that the Gia Lai Province Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (new) will have 10 departments, of which the general advisory committees include 5 departments (Office; Organization, Inspection and Propaganda Department; Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism Department; Ethnic and Religious Department; Social Work and Mass Association Department); the specialized committees include 5 departments (Youth and Children Department; Women's Department; Farmers' Department; Trade Union Department; Veterans' Department). The Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Province Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (new) will consist of 10 people (1 chairman and 9 vice chairmen); the leaders of the departments include 10 department heads and 20 deputy department heads.
The arrangement of internal leaders must comply with the regulations and principles in Conclusion No. 506 of the Binh Dinh and Gia Lai Provincial Party Committees; be suitable for qualifications, capacity, and ethics; and be harmonious and balanced between the cadres of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces.
The delegates also raised and shared some difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of the arrangement and streamlining of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces; at the same time, proposed some contents related to the number of civil servants and public employees working at the second base in Pleiku City after the arrangement.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh Province Le Binh Thanh said: This is the 4th meeting of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces to unify important contents, as a basis for completing the project, submitting it to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for consideration and decision. The project development is carried out in the spirit of the Central Committee's general direction on continuing to innovate, streamline the organization, operate effectively, efficiently and effectively. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the elements of harmony and high unity in the organizational plan to create consensus, solidarity and stability after the arrangement.
The Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Binh Dinh and Gia Lai provinces also agreed that during the implementation process, it is necessary to ensure the maintenance of the core role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations in the political system; at the same time, continue to promote the role of a bridge between the Party, the government and the people, contributing to the successful implementation of local socio-economic development goals.
