All seven students and their parents had apologized to his daughter. The man said that was enough and did not want to pursue the matter further.

He does not hold the school or the teachers responsible for what happened. He believes that the responsibility lies largely with the parents and how they raise their children. He also does not demand compensation from the parents.

Explaining his strange decision, the father said that his approach to handling the incident was to "make more friends, less enemies". The children involved in this incident were all very young, demanding severe punishment for the students, or demanding compensation from their parents, would push things too far.
