On the evening of November 6, due to the impact of storm No. 13, in Song Cau ward, Dak Lak province, heavy rain and strong winds occurred, causing many houses to have their roofs blown off, be severely damaged, and some houses to collapse completely. Notably, at around 7:30 p.m., a house opposite Long Binh Prison, Long Binh residential group, Song Cau ward, collapsed completely. At that time, there was only an elderly couple over 60 years old and a 2-year-old child in the house.

Upon receiving the news, Colonel Y San Adrông, Deputy Director of Dak Lak Provincial Police, directly directed the response to storm No. 13 in Song Cau ward, directly called and assigned the Traffic Police force on duty to respond to the storm, coordinate with the local police force and Long Binh Prison to the scene for rescue.

Only about 10 minutes later, the police force arrived at the scene, quickly responded, and took all the victims' family members to Long Binh Prison to hide. Currently, the victims are being supported with food and accommodation by officers and soldiers of Long Binh Prison Police.
