On the afternoon of November 7, a representative of Military Hospital 175 (Ho Chi Minh City) said that from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on November 6, the hospital received 40 people with symptoms of food poisoning such as abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and signs of mild to moderate dehydration.
The youngest patient was born in 2017 and the oldest was born in 1942. Of these, 38 patients were discharged and monitored at home, while 2 cases were unstable, had intestinal infections and were being hospitalized for further monitoring at the Department of Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. After 1 day of treatment, the patient's condition was stable.

According to initial information, the patients said they all ate bread at Ms. Bich’s bread shop on Nguyen Thai Son Street (Hanh Thong Ward) before getting sick. Most of these patients are students, office workers, and laborers in this area.
In addition to Military Hospital 175, a private hospital near the area also confirmed that it has received many similar cases, suspected of food poisoning, and is preparing a report to send to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health .
It is known that the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety has also received the information and is investigating the incident.
As of the afternoon of November 7, the bakery was closed. Many locals said that this is a long-standing and famous bakery, usually crowded in the morning and at noon.
