On the afternoon of October 8, Quang Binh Provincial Police said that thanks to the timely intervention of the Con Tien Commune Police, Quang Tri Province and local people, two Dutch tourists were soon found and brought out of the dangerous area in the deep forest.

Accordingly, on the evening of October 6, two Dutch tourists were riding a motorbike to explore nature in Con Tien commune, Quang Tri province. While traveling, the two tourists unfortunately got lost in the deep forest when it was raining heavily, and it was almost dark. Some local people recognized that the two tourists had gotten lost in the forest and did not come out, so they reported it to the Con Tien commune police.

At the time the tourists got lost, it was raining heavily, the road was muddy, and the area where the tourists got lost had no phone signal, making communication and locating them very difficult. Con Tien Commune Police reported to the local authorities, and together with local people, deployed forces to search for the tourists. In the dark, heavy rain, members of the working group had to carry flashlights, wade through mud, and cross many sections of dense forest to reach the area where the victims were suspected to be.

After many hours of effort, the search team discovered the location of the two tourists and their vehicle. Due to the difficult terrain, the search team had to mobilize a specialized tractor to be able to approach and bring the victims out safely.

The quick and dedicated actions of the Con Tien Commune Police, Quang Tri Province, along with the enthusiastic support of the people, have left a good impression in the hearts of tourists, contributing to affirming the image of a safe, hospitable, and worth-experiencing Quang Tri, where tourists can feel secure in exploring and leaving unforgettable memories on their journey to the sunny and windy Central region.
