Bau Bang District Police: Proactively attack crime, for a peaceful life

Since the beginning of the year, Bau Bang District Police have effectively organized many campaigns to attack and suppress all types of crimes, thereby reducing 12.5% of social order crimes compared to the same period in 2022. At the flag-raising ceremony in July 2023, Bau Bang District Police were honored to receive the emulation flag from the Provincial Police Director as an excellent unit.

Lieutenant Colonel Lam Hong Vu, Chief of Bau Bang District Police, said that in order to do a good job of ensuring security and order, the district police leaders have directed all forces to closely follow the grassroots, grasp the situation in each locality, and promptly reflect developments in the locality. Police forces in communes and towns regularly go to the locality to meet and make contact to grasp the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of the people, thereby advising the Party Committee and authorities to promptly resolve problems right at the grassroots level, not allowing them to develop into hot spots.

Since the beginning of the year, Bau Bang District Police have proactively launched 3 peak campaigns to attack and suppress crimes, thereby helping to stabilize the security and order situation. In the first 6 months of 2023, 40 crimes against social order occurred in Bau Bang District (down 12.5% compared to the same period in 2022). The District Police have investigated and clarified 38 cases, arresting 59 subjects (reaching a rate of 95%). For serious and especially serious cases, the District Police force has focused on investigating and handling them quickly, reaching a rate of 100%. In particular, the crimes of robbery, rape, theft of property, intentional injury, abuse of trust to appropriate property, robbery, etc. have emerged.

In addition, the District Police continue to crack down on drug crimes, especially focusing on eliminating drug rings, drug dens, and retail points; arresting and handling subjects who organize drug use in business establishments with security and order conditions. Accordingly, the District Police have proactively launched operations and detected and eliminated 9 cases, arrested and handled 14 subjects (a 50% decrease compared to the same period in 2022), and seized many types of drugs. To date, the district's functional units have prosecuted 7 cases and 12 subjects.

In the administrative management of social order, in the first 6 months of 2023, the District Police organized 426 inspections at 461 establishments, thereby detecting 4 establishments violating the law; administratively sanctioning 21 violations with a total amount of 154 million VND...

With outstanding achievements in the fight against crime, Bau Bang District Police have had many collectives and individuals awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of Public Security , the Provincial People's Committee, and certificates of merit by the Director of the Provincial Police...
