Thanh Hoa Provincial Police were awarded the Flag "Excellent Unit in the Emulation Movement" by the Government in 2024

In 2024, thanks to the direct and comprehensive leadership and guidance of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security ; the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee; the close and coordinated cooperation of all levels, sectors, and armed forces; and especially the great trust and support of the people of all ethnic groups in the province, the Thanh Hoa Public Security force united and strived to excellently fulfill its nhiệm vụ of ensuring political security and maintaining social order and safety, and was awarded the "Outstanding Unit in Emulation Movement" flag by the Government in 2024.

General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, presented the Prime Minister's Emulation Flag to the police of units and localities.

On December 26 and 27, 2024, in Hanoi , the Ministry of Public Security held the 80th National Public Security Conference to summarize the situation and results of Public Security work in 2024, deploy tasks for 2025 and summarize 40 years of Public Security work serving the country's innovation cause. The conference was honored to welcome Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and other Party and State leaders and representatives of central departments, ministries and branches.

Within the framework of the Conference program, on the afternoon of December 27th, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Public Security, presided over the ceremony to announce the Decision and present the prestigious awards of the Party and State to collectives and individuals who have achieved exceptionally outstanding feats in combat and combat support, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland; and also presented the Government's Excellent Emulation Flag to 29 units and localities. Among them, Thanh Hoa Public Security was one of the 29 Public Security units, localities, and Public Security schools that received the Excellent Unit Flag from the Prime Minister in the "For National Security" emulation movement in 2024.

In 2024, despite complex and unpredictable developments at the international, regional, and domestic levels, which significantly impacted security and order in the province, the Thanh Hoa Public Security force, under the direct and comprehensive leadership and guidance of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee, with the coordination of all levels, sectors, and armed forces, and with the trust and support of the people of all ethnic groups in the province, united and strived to excellently fulfill its nhiệm vụ of ensuring security and order. This contributed to creating a favorable and safe environment to attract investment, develop socio-economic activities, and strengthen national defense in the province.

With the task of improving the effectiveness of the police force's advisory work to local Party committees and authorities in leading and directing the implementation of tasks to ensure security and order; combating and thwarting the subversive plots and activities of hostile and reactionary forces in the field of national security, the Provincial Police have proactively grasped, synthesized, analyzed, evaluated, predicted, and handled the situation, promptly advising Party committees and authorities at all levels to direct and effectively implement measures to absolutely protect security and safety on key routes, areas, locations, and targets, preventing any "passive," "sudden," or "unexpected" situations and the formation of "hot spots."

Thanh Hoa Police were honored to receive the Flag "Excellent unit in the emulation movement" in 2024 from the Prime Minister.

In particular, 2024 marked a significant achievement in the comprehensive prevention and suppression of crime; it was the year with the deepest ever reduction in social order crimes (25.5%); in which, some prominent types of crimes, which account for a high percentage of the crime structure, such as intentional infliction of injury, decreased by 34%, murder by 45.8%, theft by 36.4%, and fraud by 38.3%... compared to 2023.

The effectiveness of state management in maintaining security and order in the area has been enhanced. Traffic accidents have been controlled and reduced across three criteria; the number of fires decreased by 36% and the number of fatalities decreased by 20% compared to the same period in 2023; public and urban order have been ensured, with no prolonged traffic congestion or illegal racing. The results of handling traffic safety violations increased by nearly 20% compared to the same period last year. The movement to build a nationwide security protection movement has been widely implemented, promoting the active and voluntary participation of the people in ensuring security and order at the grassroots level; many advanced models and exemplary cases have been effectively implemented and replicated. Party building, force building, logistics, and healthcare have received focused leadership attention; notably, 100% of public investment capital has been disbursed according to the targets set by the Ministry. Discipline and order have been tightened, contributing to preventing violations and misconduct by officers and soldiers.

With its achievements and results, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police is honored to be one of 29 Police units, localities and Police schools to receive the Flag "Excellent Unit in the Emulation Movement" in 2024 from the Prime Minister.
