Announcement of admission floor scores for 2025 of universities in Can Tho

On July 23, a number of universities in Can Tho City officially announced the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for regular university admission in 2025 for training majors.

In 2025, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy will apply a variety of admission methods for both training systems. For the regular university system, the main method is admission based on the results of the high school graduation exam and the V-SAT exam results.

Other methods include direct admission and priority direct admission according to current regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school, and contract training admission.

According to the announcement, the minimum score for admission to the first round of regular university programs in 2025 of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy is 20.5 points at the highest and 17 points at the lowest.

Of which, Medicine and Dentistry lead with 20.5 points; followed by Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy with 19 points. The majors of Preventive Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Nutrition, Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health , Medical Laboratory Technology, and Medical Imaging Technology all have 17 points.

In 2025, the total enrollment target of the school is expected to be 2,750; of which, 2,325 targets will be for the regular university system and 390 targets will be for the regular bridging system.

At Nam Can Tho University, this year the school also applies many admission methods, including: considering high school graduation exam scores, academic records, combining international certificates, Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment exam, V-SAT exam, and direct admission forms according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Regarding the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the highest admission floor score is for the two majors of Medicine and Dentistry with 20.5 points; followed by Pharmacy with 19 points; the majors of Preventive Medicine, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, and Nursing all have 17 points; the lowest is 15 points for the remaining majors.

Regarding the method of considering academic transcript scores, the highest admission floor score is for Medicine and Dentistry with 24 points; followed by Pharmacy with 22.5 points; Preventive Medicine, Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Imaging Technology, Nursing with 20.5 points; the remaining majors with 18 points.

In 2025, Nam Can Tho University will enroll 7,200 students for 45 training majors in health, engineering - technology, economics and management, tourism, social sciences and humanities, and architecture - construction.
