Announcing 'Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model'

The model 'Panorama of Vietnam's Private Economy' is one of four tasks assigned by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Committee IV at a working session in mid-August.

On the morning of September 11, the Private Economic Development Research Board (Board IV, the Prime Minister's Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform) held a ceremony to announce the "Vietnam Private Economic Panorama Model" and introduce the Executive Board and key personnel of the Committees.

The event is part of the first Vietnam Private Economic Panorama program, scheduled to be held on October 10, 2025 in Hanoi , in conjunction with Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day.

The model of “Vietnam Private Economic Panorama” is one of the four tasks assigned by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Committee IV at a working session in mid-August. At the working session with the Private Economic Development Research Committee (Chairman IV), Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the model of “Vietnam Private Economic Panorama” must be implemented practically and effectively, mobilizing the combined strength of the private sector, contributing to bringing Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo into life.

According to Mr. Truong Gia Binh - Head of IV, member of the Executive Board of the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation: "The Vietnam Private Economic Panorama model aims at the goal of 'Public - private nation building', promoting the mechanism of working together, sharing responsibility between the private sector and state agencies in economic and national development; it is also a place where the intelligence, resources and profound voices, great solutions of the private business community from large to small converge, contributing to realizing the goal of developing the private economy into the most important driving force of the economy."

Regarding the Vietnam Private Economic Panorama (VIPEL) model, Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Thuy, Director of Office IV, said that this is an important bridge connecting the strength of the private business community to promote and realize Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development - a resolution that the private business community has high expectations for.

The program includes the activities of committees and working groups to promote the substantial contribution of private enterprises to industries and fields; at the same time, there is a mechanism to reflect the current situation, proposals, mechanisms and policies that can promote the activities of the business community.

The Panorama Program is a high-level public-private dialogue, which will be conducted annually to address the public-private issue of jointly viewing and evaluating the annual panorama of private enterprise development and proposing and exchanging strategic issues, establishing breakthrough models for national economic development and enterprise development. Along with that, honoring national enterprises, national-building entrepreneurs and creative localities.

At the ceremony, the Panorama Executive Board was launched, initially consisting of key businessmen: Mr. Truong Gia Binh (Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation, Head of Committee IV), Mr. Don Lam (General Director of VinaCapital), Mr. Mai Huu Tin (General Director of U&I Group), Mr. Vu Van Tien (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geleximco Group), Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sovico Group), Ms. Cao Thi Ngoc Dung (Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company - PNJ) and key leaders of the 4 Committees.

The Private Economic Panorama Model announced today is a comprehensive map that helps us clearly see the scale, potential, and strength of the private economic sector, a connecting platform that converges cross-sectoral strengths from production, infrastructure, logistics, finance to education, service culture, technology, and innovation.

This is also a tool to accompany the Government in policy making, a lever to unleash resources, making the private economy a national pillar, playing a key driving role in the country's development until 2023, with a vision to 2045.
