NDO - On the afternoon of December 29, at the Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police Department, the Ministry of Public Security solemnly held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of Hue City Police and Phu Xuan District Police, Thuan Hoa District Police, Phong Dien Town Police, and Phu Loc District Police. Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security chaired the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Pham Duc Tien; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phuong; representatives of the Public Security leaders of the provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai; Department of Organization and Personnel, Office of the Ministry of Public Security.

Also attending were leaders of departments, branches and sectors in the province, People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the area; former leaders of the Provincial Police Department through the periods, comrades in the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors, leaders and commanders of the Police Department of units and localities.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Organization and Personnel - Ministry of Public Security announced the Decisions of the Minister of Public Security on the establishment of Hue City Police; Decision on the arrangement and consolidation of Hue City and District Police; Decision on the organization of the Investigation Police Agency of Hue City and District Police and Decision on the arrangement and consolidation of Hue City, Ward, Town Police.

Accordingly, after its establishment, the Hue City Police Department has an organizational structure including: Thuan Hoa District Police, Phu Xuan District Police (separated from the old Hue City Police Department), Phong Dien Town Police (old Phong Dien District Police Department), Phu Loc District Police (merged from the Police Departments of Nam Dong and Phu Loc districts), Huong Thuy Town Police, Phu Vang District Police and Quang Dien District Police.

On behalf of the Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, presented the decision on personnel arrangement for the Hue City Police Department. Under the glorious flag of the Fatherland, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tuan, Director of Hue City Police, performed the oath-taking ceremony.
